THE FIRE HORSE IS NOT COMING TO SAVE YOU.

The end of the Wood Snake and the beginning of the Fire Horse is coming.

Look, I know I'm not the only one who is LIVING for all the transformation that's supposedly coming our way (I see you, Gina).

Apparently, I'm about to receive a shitload of A B U N D A N C E, and honestly? I'm ready for it.

But... let's not forget something important.

It was the past that made us.

I heard a saying once:

Hard times make strong people, and good times make weak people.

I believe that. One hundred percent.

Last year started off amazing. Everything felt like it finally fell into place. I remember thinking, "Oh... I can relax now."

And my version of relaxing?

Dropping the ball. A lot.

There was self-sabotage.
Self-abandonment.
People-pleasing.

I let other people's opinions of me dictate who I was and how I behaved.

Last year, I lost Sandra. And that was incredibly hard.

So when I hear all this talk about the Year of the Fire Horse, all power, momentum, movement, freedom, forward energy, I know that it won't change your life....... unless you change your life.

Because no amount of planets aligning, or Neptune being in your anus, is going to fix lessons you are refusing to learn.

The Fire Horse is not coming to save you.

It's coming to expose what you're still carrying.

So it's time to let go. Let go of the:

  • resentment
  • anger
  • limiting beliefs
  • the victim
  • and your deep, exhausting need to make sure everyone is happy with you (ok that one is definitely for me)

I believe accountability is the key to happiness.

Not blame. Not punishment.

Ownership.

Recognising where your responsibility actually is.
Learning the lessons instead of dragging them forward.
Honouring yourself, your values, and your impact in the world.

Snake energy versus horse energy: the pattern of avoidance versus the power of ownership

The year of the Horse won't make a difference if you haven't shed the Snake Skin.

So what do you need to shed?

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk 🩷💙
